From the moment she first read Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, E.J. Lawrence has been trying to find the Holy Grail. While pursuing her graduate degree in English literature, she spent a semester at Oxford University and thought she might kill two birds with one stone by finding both the Grail and the door to Narnia. Though she found many fantastic portals, none fulfilled her dream of discovering those two mythological gems.
She loves all things medieval, of course drawing inspiration from history and primary documents, but also from her experiences in Europe and knowledge of outdoor survival skills and archery. Until she finds the actual Grail, she must content herself with creating her own mythical realms.
She holds an M.F.A. in writing popular fiction from Seton Hill University and has been published in New Myths and Separate Worlds. She currently resides in Georgia, where she teaches British Literature to unsuspecting seniors. She can be found on Goodreads, Twitter (@litqueen1), and blogging about women in medieval literature on Unbound.
